CLUBHOUSES - GENERAL
Numerous free and paid social events and educational programs are regularly conducted in the Recreation Area clubhouses. Stage shows, dances, movies, clubs, Bingo, classes, community support services and other activities are planned, providing hours of enjoyment to Kings Point residents and their guests. The clubhouses are also used to meet friends, play cards, swim, shoot billiards, play shuffleboard or to participate in other, varied pastimes.
All three Clubhouses (Main, Monaco and Flanders) are open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, seven days a week. Several policies govern residentsí use of the clubhouses:
1. Proper attire is required. Everyone is required to wear shoes and a shirt or other covering garment over bathing suits while in the clubhouses. After 6:00 PM, no persons in bathing suits or shorts are permitted in any area of the clubhouses with the exception of the Main Clubhouse Indoor Pool (entrance through the west end only). Split skirts or other apparel that are designed for evening wear may be acceptable.
2. Eating and drinking is not allowed in the clubhouses. (Exception: At certain social or meeting functions it is permitted, such as dances, Bingo or management meetings. Personnel in the Staff Office should always be apprised of any situation where serving of food and/or drink is anticipated.)
3. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the clubhouses.
4. Advertising/announcement leaflets, flyers, posters or other written matter may not be posted or distributed except in designated areas and then, only with management approval.
5. Residents and guests are expected to leave the clubhouses in a clean, neat appearance. Movement of furniture to other rooms is not permitted and furniture arrangements should not be disturbed.
